Charles’ career in captive insurance first started over 25 years ago when he was appointed the deputy regulator in the Cayman Islands, a large captive domicile.His early career involved roles as auditor at the National Audit Office, British Telecom and as a management accountant at Axa Sun Life. Recognising the trend of the business towards the captive insurance and with an opportunity to help start up a new independent captive he moved to Guernsey. This company was the forerunner of today’s ARM. Charles is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
